Rakeb Accal

Rakeb Accal, a Creative Producer, joined the FÉ mentorship program in search of guidance, tools, and fresh perspectives to help navigate the complexities of her creative career. With a background in music, fashion, film and sports, she was ready to shift her focus toward women-centered narratives and socially impactful work. She recognized the power of mentorship in unlocking new ways of thinking and approaching leadership.

The career shift

For Rakeb, stepping into the FÉ mentorship space marked a turning point. "One valuable shift I experienced through FÉ was realizing I didn’t have to figure everything out alone," she shares. This realization opened doors to new ways of thinking and allowed her to move forward with more intention.

"Her different perspective gave me the clarity and support I needed to move forward in a more strategic way," Rakeb explains. This shift didn’t just help her make career decisions — it changed how she approaches challenges, encouraging her to lean into support systems rather than carrying the weight alone.

At FÉ, we believe these moments are at the heart of accessible leadership. Through our programs, participants like Rakeb find the space to reflect, explore, and move forward with confidence — surrounded by guidance that centers their personal and professional ambitions.

The impact of feeling seen & supported

Beyond the strategic shifts, what stayed with Rakeb most deeply was the feeling of being truly seen and supported. "What I appreciated most was feeling truly seen. My mentor Stephany gave me the space to explore while gently guiding me, and her generous sharing of personal stories + experiences allowed me to learn in a deeper way," she says.

That safe, honest space became a catalyst for her growth. "Having someone believe in me like that meant everything."

At FÉ, mentorship is not a one-size-fits-all experience, it’s a dialogue where personal stories and professional guidance intersect to create meaningful change.

Words for future mentees

For anyone considering FÉ, Rakeb describes it as one of the best investments you can make in both your career and yourself. "The guidance and fresh perspective, give you the clarity and support to truly move forward," she shares. Beyond practical insights, she highlights the power of having someone who sees you, challenges you, and helps you navigate your path with more intention.

"You don’t have to figure it all out on your own," Rakeb reflects. She encourages future mentees to embrace mentorship not just as a professional step, but as a space to reconnect with your voice, your strengths, and the possibilities ahead.

For those considering the program, her message is simple: If you're standing at a crossroads or feel stuck in your journey, FÉ offers the space and guidance to help you find your way forward — strategically, bravely, and on your own terms.
